A dictator is characterized by the fact that he has no interest in the aims of others.

You won't find de-escalation in him - unless it serves his own purposes.

I.e. he is trapped in his world. And often feels like the chosen one.

There are dictators not only in politics, but in all areas of life. However, that's where they do the most damage.
